![]() ![]() ![]() The suspense is build right from the start and I got goosebumps while reading it at night, let me tell you that! No beating around the bush creating spooky details, this is pure and precise mystery for you. It is short, straight but intense, enough to make you want to keep reading it. I absolutely loved this book! It is not a 400 page book but you don’t need that when AC is doing the talking, do you? The USP of the book is its plot. With Miss Marple in the vicinity, they seek help but after much thought, even she advises the young couple to leave it all alone. She dismisses it at first but when she realises a murder had taken place at this very house many years ago, she and Giles unknowingly get entangled in this age old mystery that nobody seems to have a clue about. The newly married couple Gwenda and Giles move into their new home but when they begin settling in, Gwenda senses strange things. It is a Miss Marple mystery and can I just say, how I’ve missed her! So, without further rambling, let’s just get down to the review. The first book in the challenge (and of 2019) is Sleeping Murder. To know more about the reading challenge, click here. I get to read one AC book every month! I will be following list of books set for the challenge but you can read whatever you want, basically. What an exciting way to ring in 2019! I am so excited to participate in the reading challenge set by Agatha Christie’s website. ![]()
